Logo description
FC Augsburg uses a shield split vertically in red and white, edged in red and gold. At the top are the red FCA initials and a small red, green and white stripe. The lower half shows a green and black Zirbelnuss, the pine cone from Augsburg's coat of arms, on a gold base above 1907. The pine cone represents the city's Roman history, and 1907 is the club's founding year.
